The Fine Print
Travel expenses, room rentals, parking, permits, shipping, or venue fees are to be reimbursed to
LUMA Photography and will be added to the balance due. Balances are due day of event or session and prior to finalizing the digital delivery of photos.
A $75 travel fee is automatically added 21+ miles (in the state of Illinois) from South Elgin. Travel time within a scheduled session or event, ex: Communion Day Church to Party, is included in final price.
Clients are responsible for all location/venue fees, permits and entry (including Photographers' entry).
LUMA Photography is not responsible for the lack of coverage due to weather conditions, scheduling complications due to lateness of individuals,
rules and/or restrictions of venue, or the rendering of decorations of the desired location.
LUMA Photography is not responsible for damage to garments due to environmental events.
All photos are selected by the photographer. Boudoir photos are selected together, in person only, with client/s & photographer. unedited photos ARE NEVER ISSUED. clients ARE NOT ALLOWED to choose their photos. (Boudoir sessions differ).

All photos are copyrighted. The digital images created by LUMA Photography remain sole property until Client has paid in full.
All deposits are NON-refundable. Your session date will NOT be reserved until a deposit has been received.
In case of a family emergency or kids become sick prior to a session, your initial deposit may be used towards another session to reschedule.

Deposits can be paid by Cash, Venmo, or Zelle.
REMAINING BALANCES MUST BE PAID ON THE DAY OF YOUR SESSION.
It is illegal to copy, scan, reproduce, or post to online forums or elsewhere without the written permission from LUMA Photography.
Permission is hereby granted to LUMA Photography to use any images created under this contract for professional samples, displays,
internet website pages, advertising, contests and any other lawful purpose.
Clients will be issued a Print Release Form for clients personal use of the digital images.
The Client understands all posting of images on the internet must be acknowledged as images by LUMA Photography.

MINI Sessions
Studio Mini's are only offered during the holidays with corresponding holiday theme backdrops.
Outdoor Mini's are only available on designated dates provided by LUMA Photography in advance.

Can I extend the session on the day of?
If time allows & no following appointments or sessions are set, yes. Prices vary based on session or event. Payment for additional time is due same day. Balance must be paid in full prior to finalizing the delivery of images.
Do you shoot destination?
Yes, however, at 21+ miles (within the state of Illinois) from South Elgin a $75 fee will be applied. Out of state travel, based upon consultation.
Hotel Room Rentals, Permits, parking and/or venue fees not included & due date of session. All unexpected expenses are to be reimburshed to photographer prior to finalizing the delivery of images. LUMA Photography is not responsible for scheduling complications due to lateness of individuals, rules and/or restrictions of venue, or the rendering of decorations of the desired location.
Will there be a second photographer?
On occasion a second photographer will join for candid imagery style only. This assisting photographer is typically in training & solely assisting the main photographer. There is no charge for the second photographer.
What happens with bad weather?
Illinois happens & weather is unpredictability. LUMA Photography is not responsible for lack of coverage due to weather conditions. To provide adequate service and respect of clients & photographers time, a 48 rescheduling window is allowed at no charge due to inclement weather only. Session may be rescheduled or moved to an indoor location. This may change the "desired ambiance" of your theme. However, LUMA Photography & Boudoir is not responsible for scheduling complications due to lateness of individuals.
Do I have to order prints through LUMA Photography?
With the exception of a Boudoir session, no, LUMA Photography does not supply prints. All images, *excluding Boudoir Sessions, are sent digitally via a personalized Client Gallery. Look-Books and USB's are available for purchase. Shipping rates will be applied or clients can pick up orders!
